Trimbakeshwar Shiva Temple is located at the foot of the sacred Brahmagiri mountain in Trimbak town near Nashik, Maharashtra. It is counted among the most holy of the 12 Jyotirlinga shrines of Lord Shiva and serves as the origin point of the holy River Godavari.

The Unique Three-Faced Linga: The defining feature of Trimbakeshwar Jyotirlinga is that the Linga inside the sanctum has three small thumb-sized Lingas representing the Holy Trinity — Lord Brahma, Lord Vishnu, and Lord Shiva (Tridev). Reconstructed by Peshwa Balaji Baji Rao in the 18th century out of solid black basalt stone, the temple stands enclosed within massive stone walls.
